Life is a Journey

Hi everyone! It is my day to post on the
I have decided to do a birthday card for a very special person in my life.
Here it is :)

I started with a standard heavy weight card stock and scored it so I could create the easel.
Then cut and added some print card stock from Prima and it is called free spirit.
I love the colors and prints.
Then I pulled out my Pinque Peacock Flower and pin stash. I found the perfect flower from Pinque Peacock and it is a Fabric Splendid Swirl with a center embellishment. It just went perfect with the papers.
The beautiful Pin is Pinque Peacock too of course!! It is one of the beaded stick pins. Now I don't know if Jessica can still create that exact one but she has beautiful beads and can create one of your choice!!!
All of the resin cameos and other embellishments are from Websters Pages. The trim is unknown.
I also used a piece of a doily, a cats eye ink pad and 2 wood banners. All unknown.
Life is definitely a journey and I hope you all have a fabulous one.

Now before we get to the prize and how you can win it here is a pic of my Easter Card!
I decided to do a Easter easel card. I started with a robins egg blue card stock in standard 8.5 by11 and folded it in half. Then you fold the top in half again. I always lay the card back down after folding into the standard half fold to embellish. You want it to look good laying down as well as in the easel position. I then cut a scalloped oval in hot pink and embossed it. When you adhere the oval you want to only glue the lower half down so that it can pop up in the easel position. Next I did an Easter cut with my cameo of that adorable bunny. I used pop dots to fasten it to the oval. Next I used 2 wooden eggs that were put out by Prima a few years ago. I know all the stampers will cringe about this but I used Spectrum Noir markers to color the eggs then added some shimmer glitter and let that dry. After it dried I then gave the eggs a coat of modge podge and allowed that to air dry. I then used left over pieces of card stock to adhere to the back side of the eggs. The Spectrum Noir Markers are available at Pinque Peacock. All products from Pinque Peacock will be linked to the location on the Pinque Peacock Store Page for your shopping convenience :)
I also added 2 cute butterfly beads to the oval. Before attaching the eggs I made paper corners and attached those to the lower 2 corners. Now after the top was finished and dry I got to work on the inside. All the papers are from a doodlebug designs 6x6 pad called Hello Spring. I started the inside by attaching the paper just like it was a half fold card. The only difference is the greeting is at the bottom of the page instead of the standard top position. I then added the beautiful blue Fabric Splendid Swirl as an eye catching anchor to hold the easel in place. The adorable
blue butterfly stick pin is also from Pinque Peacock. Well there is the low down on my Easter card:) Next you will be going to Julie's Blog

Now before we get to the Great hop prize here is the picture of my Hop project!

I chose to do a wedding layout that is just waiting for my nieces wedding picture.
I of course started with my Pinque Peacock!!!

We have 2 Fabric Splendid Swirls one in Black with the red polka dots and 1 pure white! Then we have that cute polka dot fabric Covered Button and then we pull it all together with a fabulous
Beaded Stick Pin. Now who couldn't build a project around all of this fabulous product!!!
Then I found this great wedding dress print and cut from Jessica weible illustrations. It was a freebie but is still available on her site!! The trims I used are loose trims I had on hand and I have no idea which companies they may be from. The small roses and the flourish are Prima. The ribbon around the waist of the gown is 3 girl jam. The 3 girl jam ribbon is so easy to work with I love it!
I embossed the gown and photo mat with a Cricut Cuttle Bug Folder it is a Anna Griffin design that is called Poppy. It is a large folder and I love it. I inked the edges of the gown with a black ink pad then again in silver. Now this is our little secret because I told the Queen Peacock that no stickles were involved... totally forgot I used it on the hanger... What can I say there has to be a crazy stickles girl in every group right :)
Well I think I covered everything now you need to follow all the rules outlined below to win this uber exciting prize package! Next up is the Fabulous MARY

Beauty with Pinque Peacock

Hi everyone! Today is my day to post for Pinque Peacock..
Today I have a Scrapbook page for you. I scrapped my Nieces Senior picture.
She graduated this year and will be going off to college this next school year. So I wanted this page to be full of beautiful things to match this incredible young ladies beauty. She is beautiful inside and out.
So I grabbed my boxes of Pinque! Here is the first sneak peek.
One of the reasons I love Pinque Peacock is because it is so versatile. I used a beautiful Beaded Stick Pin and a small piece of netting and made the dragonfly on the upper right of this pic. Did you know you can order the Elegant Florals with or without a center? I normally purchase mine with out the center embellishment because then I can add my own to change the whole look of the flower! You can see the pretty yellow and white elegant floral and that pretty Pink one.. Well I added a blingy victorian type center to it. Now look at that amazing  Hot Pink and Cream Elegant Loop De Loop Flower. It is perfect with that Large Rhinestone Center. I wanted Elegant and I got it with Pinque peacock.
Here is the next close up:

I also love the Unique Made to Order Buttons the pretty blue one in the lower right is a 1.5 inch and then I added the black heart embellishment to it. They also come in a 3/4 inch. You can get them as a flat back or as a standard back Button. The matching ribbon is from 3 girl jam and I love the stuff it is amazing to work with.
Now here is the full picture of my project
Be sure to visit Pinque Peacock for beautiful unique embellishments!
Jessica even does special orders :)
Thank-you for stopping in today!!

I am back :) Here are a few cards that I recently made

After a very long break from blogger due to my blog being a mess when my blog designer quit hosting the blog design. I am back  With a be...
