Never Give Up

Today is my day to post for Pinque Peacock!!
I chose to step away from doing a Christmas item for this post. I have a family member that was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. One of my little sisters so I chose to make a card for her and to encourage all of you to have all of your annual check ups. If you have been diagnosed and are battling this terrible disease Never Give Up!!!

Here is my card

I started with a solid blue basic card stock. I then used a piece of kraft colored card stock and cut it down and rounded the edges. I used a pretty blue gel pen in blue and faux stitched the edge. Next I used a piece of pretty print paper from my stash and rounded the edges of that one also.I then took the cardstock with the sentiment on it and rounded those edges then used a brown chalk ink pad to ink the edges. Next I added the cute pink feather trim. I took the ribbon charm in the lower right corner and tied Trendy Twine in Tickled with Teal into a small bow then used teal stickles and put a drop on the tails of the ribbon. The silver ribbon charm is from Pinque Peacock. I then used a piece of BoBunny Double Dot Ribbon in teal to make my ribbon loop. Next I added a beautiful Baby Girl Pink Pleated Petal from Pinque Peacock. For the flower center I used a 3/4 inch fabric covered button from the Zoo Baby Collection from Pinque Peacock. Now this card would not be complete without a beautiful Angel Pin from Pinque Peacock. This one is in white.
When it was all put together I used the same teal Stickles and made small drops all the way around the card stock sentiment. One of the greatest things about the beautiful Hand Made items from Pinque Peacock is regardless of what the theme of the release is most of the items can be used at anytime. They have a timeless beauty. Thank-you for stopping by today!

I chose to do a fall themed Birthday Card for my Mom.

Then the crowning glory is that beautiful Pin from Pinque Peacock. It is made with beautiful smoky crystals. Here is a link to the pins

Celebrating with 3 Girl Jam

Hi and happy Wednesday 3 Girl JAM fans!!!
It is my pleasure to post as a guest designer today for 3 Girl JAM!!! I hope you have joined the party!!!
If not here is your link !
PARTY
Since this month is all about Celebration at 3 Girl JAM I have created a Birthday Card. Here it is:
On this card I embossed a card stock mat then took a smaller piece of card stock and covered it with fabric.
Then I faux stitched with a black photo safe pen. Next I adhered the fabric and  the embossed mat together.
My next step was to make my bow with my so easy to work with 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon. I then used a Maya Road canvas tag and stamped the sentiment onto it then inked the edges and attached it to the card. I used  pop dots to attach it all to my card base.
As you can tell I am a HUGE fan of 3 Girl JAM Crinkle ribbon and the bow maker! I love having a perfect bow every time. You will also find a tutorial on the 3 girl JAM blog to show you how to use it.

This is a double bow but the possibilities with this great tool are endless!
If you want perfect bows every time this is the product for you!!
Here is a close up of the bow

Thank-you for stopping by my blog today!!! Be sure to visit 3 Girl JAM and also jump over to the

For my project today, I created a layout!

I used a super cute file from Scrapping Bug Designs called I'm Walking On Sunshine. Here is the link to this adorable file: Walking On Sunshine
Here is a close up of 2 of the cuts available in the file. When I did the cuts I did not change the sizes at all.
I did use a kraft colored cardstock and did a second cut a little larger then layered the cuts and out lined it with a faux stitching using a white gel pen.
Now here is a close up of my dragonfly. To make it I used a beautiful Pinque Peacock Pearl Pin and 2 of the new colors of Trendy Twine that are available right now. I used Lime Orangesicle and Lime Grapesicle. I made a bow using both colors of twine and cut a small piece to tie it together in the center I pulled both ends of that piece up to create the antennas. I then wrapped the end of the beautiful pin with Lime Grapesicle and glued the pin to the top of my Trendy Twine bow. I added 2 drops of lime liquid pearls to the top of the antennas to hold them down. Now here are your links to these great products:

Storage that has Been Pinqued

Hi everyone! Today is my day to post for Pinque Peacock. This time I chose to do a storage solution.
Here is the picture of the finished item.

I started with the zebra hat box which was a great 3.00 find! I added 2 trims. The velvet Pink and the black rose and I think they are both Maya Road. I added a Tim Holtz Clip in Bronze and used the trusty old glue gun to attach it to my box. I then added a Farm Fresh covered button to the top of the clip.
Then I added a Layered Garden Beauty and the Butterfly Stick Pin. Then I added my ultimate Fav Pinque Peacock Item a Elegant Floral in Cherry Lipstick. You can use the clip to label the box so you know what is inside. Because it is a clip you can change the label anytime! Want to see what is inside?
Yes a whole lot of beautiful Pinque Peacock Blooms

Now here is a close up of the items used

Thank-you for stopping by today! Be sure to take a peek in the shop!!!
