Never Give Up

Today is my day to post for Pinque Peacock!!
I chose to step away from doing a Christmas item for this post. I have a family member that was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. One of my little sisters so I chose to make a card for her and to encourage all of you to have all of your annual check ups. If you have been diagnosed and are battling this terrible disease Never Give Up!!!

Here is my card

I started with a solid blue basic card stock. I then used a piece of kraft colored card stock and cut it down and rounded the edges. I used a pretty blue gel pen in blue and faux stitched the edge. Next I used a piece of pretty print paper from my stash and rounded the edges of that one also.I then took the cardstock with the sentiment on it and rounded those edges then used a brown chalk ink pad to ink the edges. Next I added the cute pink feather trim. I took the ribbon charm in the lower right corner and tied Trendy Twine in Tickled with Teal into a small bow then used teal stickles and put a drop on the tails of the ribbon. The silver ribbon charm is from Pinque Peacock. I then used a piece of BoBunny Double Dot Ribbon in teal to make my ribbon loop. Next I added a beautiful Baby Girl Pink Pleated Petal from Pinque Peacock. For the flower center I used a 3/4 inch fabric covered button from the Zoo Baby Collection from Pinque Peacock. Now this card would not be complete without a beautiful Angel Pin from Pinque Peacock. This one is in white.
When it was all put together I used the same teal Stickles and made small drops all the way around the card stock sentiment. One of the greatest things about the beautiful Hand Made items from Pinque Peacock is regardless of what the theme of the release is most of the items can be used at anytime. They have a timeless beauty. Thank-you for stopping by today!

Pink and Black at Pinque Peacock

Pinque Peacock

Hi everyone! On this post for Pinque Peacock I decided to use
Pink and Black as my main accent colors!!
At anytime you can click the shop pic at the top of this post to be taken to Pinque Peacock:)))
Here is the first pic of my project.
This is the close up of the great pink and black items available at Pinque Peacock.
The bloom is made of felt and the colors are nice and bold. Here is the link to this bloom.
Jessica the owner hand makes every item and will do custom colors!
She also makes the adorable Angel Pins.
Here is the link to the Pink and Black Angel Pins
Now here is a pic of the full card.
Unfortunately we are having a very wet grey day in the beautiful Willamette Valley so my photo quality is not very good :(
Here is another shot of it
I started with a hot pink base 1/2 fold card. I then used 2 print papers from the BoBunny Isabella collection and cut them to fit my base but still leave a bit of the hot pink showing. I attached the 2 pieces of print paper together then added the lace before I attached the print papers to my base. The tag was plain chipboard so I used a colorbox metallic silver stamp pad and covered the chipboard. I then used an A Muse Studio stamp from the Essentials Set to stamp the sentiment. I outlined the tag with Black Diamond Stickles Glitter Glue. I attached the bloom and angel pins then added the BoBunny pearls. I faux stiched all the way around the print papers. Then I used Stardust Stickles to add a little bling to the lower left and upper right of the print papers. The great thing about the stardust is that it just enhances the item that you put it on. The original colors show through and it just gives it a little sparkle! It is my ultimate Fav of the stickles line! Here is a close up of the lower left of the card.
Thank-you for stopping by my blog today! Now go have a little shopping therapy at
