Welcome to My Cricut Craft Rooms
100 cartridge blog hop!
You should have come from
My first project was made using the following cartridges:
the standard and shadow cuts. I then used the layering feature
to make there clothes. I used craftroom on this project so I was able to use the colors and patterns from the Santa's Village Cartridge to flood the clothes with color. I used stickles to add a little bling to them. To make the cute little faces I used a Peachy Keen face stamp. I used a cuttlebug snowflake folder to emboss the back round mat. The Seasons Greeting ribbon was one that I had on hand and worked perfectly with this. So I used my glue runner and glued it to the back of the mat then pulled it to the front and tied it. The Trees were cut from the Cricut Winter Woodlands cartridge and I cut them at 4 inches in layers to get the tree trunk in brown. I used Frosted lace stickles to put snow on the branches. Now on to my layout:)
I started with a piece of black magic card stock that was black on the front and the core was green. I used the Provocraft Chizzel-it to distress the edges of the card stock and bring the green onto the edges. The snow on the bottom is a fiberous paper that I hand cut to use as snow.
Then I cut the bakery at 4 inches and used red and Star Dust stickles to bling it up. I used frosted lace stickles to make the smoke coming out of the chimney.
All of the snowflakes were cut at 1 inch and are from the Winter Lace cartridge. I used Stardust stickles to give them sparkle. My trees were cut at 2 inches and stickles was added to them also.
Santa was cut at 2 inches and I added just a touch of star dust stickles to him. The little gifts are 1 inch cuts. I hope you enjoyed my projects!! I love comments:)
