Septembers 100 Cartridge Blog Hop with My Cricut Craft Room

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Rooms
100 cartridge blog hop!
You should have come from

My first project was made using the following cartridges:
the standard and shadow cuts. I then used the layering feature

My layout was made using the Cricut Imagine Santas Village Cartridge and Winter Lace.
I started with a piece of black magic card stock that was black on the front and the core was green. I used the Provocraft Chizzel-it to distress the edges of the card stock and bring the green onto the edges. The snow on the bottom is a fiberous paper that I hand cut to use as snow.
Then I cut the bakery at 4 inches and used red and Star Dust stickles to bling it up. I used frosted lace stickles to make the smoke coming out of the chimney.
All of the snowflakes were cut at 1 inch and are from the Winter Lace cartridge. I used Stardust stickles to give them sparkle. My trees were cut at 2 inches and stickles was added to them also.
Santa was cut at 2 inches and I added just a touch of star dust stickles to him. The little gifts are 1 inch cuts. I hope you enjoyed my projects!! I love comments:)

Imagination Monday with My Cricut Craft Room

Welcome to another Imagination Monday with My Cricut Craft Room

I love fall. The colors are just beautiful so I chose to use the Imagine Cartridge
Enjoy the Seasons which you can purchase by clicking the name of the cartridge:) You will be taken to Erica's store! This card is super easy to make. I started with a heavy burnt orange card stock. Then I used a color core card stock in brown and embossed it with a cuttle bug folder. I then lightly sanded the raised embossing to bring out the craft core color. I distressed the edges of the orange card stock and inked it with brown ink. I ran the embossed piece through my creative station and attached it to the base. Now for the fun part the cuts:)I cut the tree at 4 inches but before doing that I changed my settings to get rid of that shadow like edge that is normally on an Imagine cut. The tree is all 1 piece so it is so easy! I cut the leaves at 1.75 and used 2 of those cuts. The pumpkins were cut at 1.50 inches. Now the pumpkins are a grouped item so I went into craft room and ungrouped them so I could place them individually. The cute little squirrel on the stump was cut at 1.75 inches. The My Favorite Season tag was cut at 2 inches. If you have this cartridge you will see that I went in and ungrouped the tag to change the colors of the layers then hit group and save and Walla it is all one piece again in the fall color that I wanted. I used Fall Trendy Twine to attach the tag and give it all a finished look. When I layered the different cuts I used a glue pen for the first layer then I used double sided puffy tape to attach the other layers to give it a little dimension. See super simple card. Now be sure to go back to

Card Tuesday With My Cricut Craft Room

Welcome to card creating Tuesday with My Cricut Craft Room!!
This week we are to make a Get Well Card.
So here is a picture of mine then I will tell you which cartridges and cuts I used.
For this Project I used Cricut Imagine Cartridge Word of Mouth. I love this cartridge and use it a lot! I cut the soup can at 3.50 inches. I used Stickles star dust to high light areas on the can.
Then the Bowl is a cut from Baby Steps yes I said Baby Steps! It had the best bowl and spoon that I could find:)
I did this in Craftroom and used Imagine Cartridge Audrey to flood it with color. So now it looks more grown up! I cut the bowl and spoon at 3.00 inches and did the cuts in layers!
The base card is a silver Grey then I added a silver grey print then White card stock that I embossed.
This card is easy to do if you are short on time! Now be Sure to Visit Erica's Store for great Prices on Cricut and Cuttlebug Items.

I Love to hear from everyone!!! Be sure to go back to My Cricut Craft Room

How Does Your Garden Grow with My Cricut Craft Room

Welcome to How Does Your Garden Grow with My Cricut Craft Room!

You should have come from
Jeanine's Blog
If you didn't you will want to go back so you don't miss anything along the way!!!

I am very happy to be a part of this hop with all of these crafty ladies! Here is a picture of project my then I will tell you how I made this layout and all the cuts and cartridges used.
.

On this layout I used 5 cricut cartridges. I always use Cricut Craft Room as my main design tool so I am able to use any cartridge I own and design a project using multiple cartridges I love it! O.k the Gazebo is a 4 inch cut from Spring Cottage. This cartridge does not have feature choices so I used craft room and went into edit and erased all the cut lines so that all that was left was the outline which is the same as using the blackout feature. I then did the cut again in the standard way that is on the cartridge. Using the same cartridge I cut the tulip leaves and tulips at 1 inch. I used the Flower shoppe cartridge to cut the other 2 flowers at 1 inch and put little rhinestones in the center.. The stems on those flowers are from Walk in my Garden and were cut using the blackout feature at 1.25 inches. The Enjoy Life cut is from Graphically speaking and was cut at 1.25 inches. The clouds and the butterfly are from Craft Room Basics which is only available using the Online version of Cricut Craft Room. I used Doodle Twine for the body and antennas. The little Bear and net were cut using the Imagination Cartridge Enjoy the Seasons. I used 2 machines to do my cuts. I used the E2 and the Imagine machine. The sparkle that was added to the cuts is Star Dust Stickles. It is the first thing I grab to add a touch of bling or to highlight certain cuts. What makes it different than other stickles is that this one allows the original color of the cut to come through and it just adds a touch of sparkle. It is one of many little tricks that I have learned from Erica's UStreams and from her blog. I hope you enjoyed my layout and will come visit my little blog again! I love to hear what you have to say so please leave a comment:) Next you will be going to visit

Imagination Monday with My Cricut Craft Room

Welcome to another My Imagination Monday with My Cricut Craftroom.
On this project I used 3 Imagine Cartridges:
Word of Mouth
Notebook doodles
Lori's Garden
Now here is the picture of my project and then I will explain the cuts I used to make it:)

The fun Blue and white back round paper is from the Notebook Doodles Colors and Patterns cartridge.
I did a full 12x12 so I would have some of it to use on other projects.
The blue paper I embossed with a butterfly embossing folder then attached the Bobunny ribbon to it and ink the edges with red ink to tie it in with the card base. Then I attached it on top of the pattern paper. Next I used Word of Mouth and did the Live well cut at 3 inches I then used Stardust Stickles on the dots in the lettering and frame to give it a little sparkle. Then I did the Butterfly in flight cut from Lori's Garden at 3 inches and used stardust stickles on it also.
Just an FYI I tried to do the butter fly cut smaller but the flourish in it was so thin there was no way to remove it from the mat without tearing it. And for the first time I did not use Craft Room. It was alot harder without that designing tool and I won't do it again!! Be sure to go to

I love comments and read each one!!

My Cricut Craft Room Card Tuesday

Welcome to another Card Creating Tuesday!!
This week I chose to do the Cheer up card option.
Here is a pic of my card then I will give you the info on how I made it!

The card is a standard half fold in chocolate brown. I then used a shimmer bazzill card stock and embossed it with a Cuttle Bug Folder. The fishing background paper is from Bo Bunny Camp alot. The beach chair is from the Life's a beach cricut cartridge and I cut it at 3 inches. The Umbrella is from the same cartridge and was cut at 3 inches also in 2 layers. The flip flops are also from Life's a Beach and were cut at 1.50 inches in 2 layers. The tropical drink is from Life's a Beach and the first layer was cut once. The layer cut was cut 3 times in order to get the colored straw and fruit. The table is from Kate's ABC's. In order to just get the table I had to use the layer feature. I hope you enjoyed my project and I love to hear from you!! Be sure to go back to My Cricut Craft Room to see all of the wonderful creations from my Design Team Sisters! You should have come from Kathy's Blog If you didn't you will want to start at the beginning so you don't miss any of the great projects along the way!
On my project I used the following cartridges:
Sophie, Word Of Mouth and Spring Chic.
I chose to make a cork board for my craft room. It started out looking like this.

Not pretty I know but it is a perfect 12x12 square and you can purchase them in many scrapbook stores. 1 side is sticky so I used that side to adhere my 12x12 base paper and it went on like a dream! Now here is a picture of my finished cork board.
I used the Imagine Cartridge Word of Mouth for the Live what you love Die cut. I cut it at 4 inches.
I used My George basics cartridge for the floral square and cut it at 6 inches. Then I used Sophie to make the grey doily and cut it at 6 inches also. In order to get the perfect Grey for the doily I used Cricut Imagine Spring Chic. I do my projects in Craft Room and would be lost with out this awesome free tool!!
My roses were cut from Sophie at 2 inches and I did them again using the blackout feature to give it a little pop of color.
I did the same thing with the leaves. It is amazing how a little layering can make a huge difference!
I cut the Butterflies at 1.50 inches and did those in layers also. I then used Doodle Twine for the body and antennas.
I also embellished them with a little stickles. I also used Stardust Stickles over the lettering. A trick I learned from Erica is that the Stardust can be used over any color and it just enhances it and gives it a little sparkle. I love it!!
I hope you enjoyed my project and will visit my little blog again. We all love to read your comments too!! Now next you should be going to Heather's Blog. Theme Day Thursday with My Cricut Craft Room

Welcome to another Theme Day Thursday With My Cricut Craft Room!!
This week my project from the box of doom!! For those of you that don't know what that is it is Ugly paper that get thrown in our boxes from Erica when we miss a post or when she is being funny :)
Now on this project I used the following cartridges:
Flower Shoppe and Winter Woodland.
Here is my project then I will tell you how I made it and covered up some of the ugly:)
Now to be honest I only felt that one piece of the set was ugly but it is amazing how just the right Cricut cut and a little Diamond stickles can hide ugly!! LOL
My flower is the Daisy Cut from Flower Shoppe. I did 3 inch and 2 inch cuts to give it fullness. Then I used my I top and made the brad from the same paper group. The Warm Winter Wishes cut is from Cricut Cartridge Winter Woodlands. I did the standard cut in Ugly paper then the shadow cut in pink. I did the cut at 3 inches.
After putting the words together I used Diamond Stickles to
shhh don't tell Erica:) hide the ugly and it was ugly!
I used a pink ink pad to ink the edges of some of the flower petals to have it blend in a little better.
Thank-you for stopping in and I love comments:)
Now you will want to go back to My Cricut Craft Room to see all of the amazing projects by my Design Team Sisters. I am not the only one with a box of doom project :) Also check out Erica's store for great Provo Craft deals and a huge selection of cartridges and cuttlebug items!!!
