Theme Day Thursday with My Cricut Craft Room

Welcome to another Theme Day Thursday with My Cricut Craft Room. This week I chose the Any Kids Cartridge option. Here is the picture of my card then I will tell you how I did it!

On this card for one of my amazing Grand daughters I used the Once Upon A Princess Cartridge and Berries and Cream.
I did my project in Cricut Craft Room and used my imagine machine so I was able to design it and change the colors to what I wanted then cut it all at once.
The Teapot was cut at 3 inches in the standard cut and using the shadow option as well as layers. I then added stickles glitter glue to give it a little sparkle. The Tea Cup was cut at 2 inches in layers and in the shadow. I then used a cute face stamp to make the cute little face. I used Stickles glitter glue on this one also.
The butterflies were cut at 1 inch and I used the berries and cream cartridge for the print and solid colors on both butterflies. I used doodle twine for the center. A trick I learned from another crafter on facebook. It gives it a little extra cuteness :) I then added stickles to the little butterflies also.
I hope you enjoyed my project!! To see more projects like this one please go back to My Cricut Craft Room

Card Creating Tuesday With My Cricut Craft Room

Welcome to another Card Creating Tuesday With My Cricut Craft Room!!
This week it is all about boy cards! Here is the picture of my card and then I will give you all the information on what I used to make it!

For the little convertable I used Cricut Lite Beep Beep. As you know the lite cartridges don't come with booklets  but I cut the car at 2 inches and used all the layering features. The Teddy Bear is from a childs year cartridge and was cut at 1.75 inches and cut again using the shadow feature.I did the project in Cricut Craft Room so I was able to remove all the facial features so that I could use a Peachy Keen Cute and Cuddly face stamp.  The football and baseball are from Sports Mania and they were cut at 1 inch and I again used the layering feature.
The Pennants are from the Art Philosophy Cartridge and were cut at .75 inches and again in the shadow feature. I love doing things in layers because it gives them more dimention. I also use liquid pearls and or Stickles Glitter Glue to define things a little more or give it sparkle. You can find the liquid Pearls and Glitter Glue in Erica's store here is the link to the
The twine is doodle twine and is available in Erica's store in a wide variety of colors!! Here is the link to the

If not you will want to go back !! We wouldn't want you to miss any projects on the way!!
Here is my project for the hop with one of my favorite little ones as the star :)

I used several cartridges on this layout. I used Nate's ABCs for the blocks and I cut those at 1.50 you will find the block cuts on each one of the pages in your booklets according to the ABC's. I cut the blocks first in the ABC's to spell out Patrick and then again in the solid blocks to layer them. I did the project in Cricut Craft Room so I was able to use the Hey Diddle Diddle cartridge to fill the solid blocks with a cute pin wheel print. The ball is on page 55 in your booklet and I did the standard cut and then the blackout cut and layered the blue on top of the red.
on Nate's ABC's I cut the wagon at 2.00 and then went into the layering features for the wheels. The wheels are tiny and I found the best way for me to pick them up and place them was with the pic in my cricut tools!! I gently poked them with the sharp tip and placed them. The wagon is from Kate's ABC's but after using that cartridge I see the same cut on Nates ABC's
The cute little birds are from Campin Critters cartridge and you will find them on page 33 of your booklet. I cut them at 1.25 and once again used the layering feature. You will once again have some tiny cuts to work with and I used my cricut tool pic again. After cutting all of the layers and putting them together I decided it needed to be more defined to stand out on the page so I used the shadow feature and black card stock to make it pop. The shadow will cut with the a spot for the musical notes to go so what I did was put it all together then trim off the the part I didn't want to use.
The frame is from Fancy Frames and I cut it at 8 inches tall the width will automatically proportion itself. Even though the picture is a 5x7 when I did the cut at 7 inches it covered a portion of the photo and frankly my little great nephew is too darn cute to cover up so I went 1 inch larger and it was perfect. I once again did this cut in Cricut Craft Room and used the Hey Diddle Diddle cartridge to flood it with the Pin wheels print to match the blocks. The All Boy Sticker and the Photo Corners are from DCWV and are available for purchase at Erica's Craft Room store You will also find a huge selection of cartridges as well as the latest trends in paper crafting!!

My Imagination Monday With My Cricut Craftroom

Welcome to My Imagination Monday with My Cricut Craft Room!
I chose to do a Magnetic Note Board for my craft room. I have had the magnet board sitting on a shelf mocking me for a couple of months so it was time to bite the bullet and show it who is boss. So first I will post the picture then tell you how I did it:)

The first thing I did was tear a piece of black magic paper to create the backround. I used an adhesive spray glue to spray the metal 12x12 sheet and carefully placed the paper on it and set it aside to dry. Then I pulled out my Word of Mouth  Imagination cartridge and found the large center cut that was perfect for what I wanted and the saying was fitting.  You will find the cut on page 23 of your booklet. I did the cut at 11 inches. I then used Stickles Glitter Glue and Liquid Pearls to give dimention and bling to the cut. You can purchase the Stickles here at Erica's Store as well as the cartridges I have used!! Then I set it aside to dry and cut my butterfly magnets at 2 inches from Lori's Garden but I did use Spring Chic to change the colors and patterns on the butterflies. I added Stickles glitter glue to the butterflies to dress them up a bit and set them aside to dry. While the butterflys dried I adhered the Being Creative cut to my base papers and gave it a protective coat of Modge Podge. After that dried I added the ribbon then placed it in a 12x12 scrapbooking frame but did not use the glass. Then I bent my butterflies to make them look like they were in flight and used a glue dot to adhere the butterflies to the magnets. Now I can look up at that magnet board and see:
Being Creative means not being afraid to fail
It is fitting and so true!
I hope you enjoyed my project and will leave me a comment! I would love to have you follow my blog also if you are not following yet! If you have a blog leave the link on your comment and I will follow you in return! We all need to support eachother.
