Mothers day cards

This will be my last post today. Because my daughter and granddaughter live in another state today was a lazy day for me so I created several cards that needed to be done for may. Both of these cards are Mothers Day cards

The print cardstock is by KaiserCraft from the Chanteuse line and is available at

The resin pink blooms are Maya Road and the beautiful long stemed blooms are KaiserCraft.

The lace and blooms are all available at Paper Patch Crafts.

The Paper butterflies are Prima

Solid Cardstock is Papertrey Ink
The swirl ribbon was purchased at Cropstop

The white stitching was created using a white gel pen that Anne the owner of Paper Patch Crafts tossed into all of her Design Teams boxes last month. It is always like Christmas when the design team box arrives at my door!! I love it!

I hope everyone has a fabulous week! It is back to work for me in the AM

Lily Bday Card

This is my first attempt at making a lily using the Mcgill punches and tools.

My fellow designer for Paper Patch Crafts Shelley Toney did a wonderful tutorial on making these lillies and here is the link to that tutorial on her blog:

Now for product used.

The printed paper and tag are KaiserCraft Chanteuse Collection and are available at:

The butterflies are Prima

I used Papertrey Ink card stock for the lillies.

I used chalk to shadow the pink into the lillies and a copic marker to outline the petals and put the dots on the petals.

My lillies are far from perfect but I know they will get better everytime I make them!!

Happy Crafting Everyone!!

Butterfly Birthday

Happy Easter everyone.

Yesterday I worked on a Birthday card for one of my beautiful neices.

With spring starting I wanted bright and cheerful and I got that look with the following products.

Cardstock solid light green: Papertrey Ink

Butterfly Cardstock : KaiserCraft Bubblegum Hills collection. which is available at:

I used nestibilities petite scalloped circles in my cuttlebug to do the circular cuts.

I also used 4 inch coasters purchased from Anne at Paper Patch Crafts to give the cuts

dimention. I love the coasters. Because they are 4 inches it is also easy to do a 4 inch circle with patterned paper to cover the coaster.

Silly me I didn't know you could use nestibilities or spellbinders in my cuttlebug. I had to call Anne and get instruction on how to do that. She is always awesome about teaching and giving information as well as answering all my silly questions! Now I am hooked! I now prefer the nestibilities and spellbinder dies over the cuttlebug dies. They are so much more versatile.

Back to product used.

The mini roses are made by Recollections

I also used Stickles glitter glue.

Now I need to get busy on Mothers Day Cards.

I will also be posting another card I made later today :)

Shelley Toney who is also a designer at the Patch did a fabulous tutorial on making lillies. You can find it on her blog. The link is on my blogs home page. The card I will be posting later shows my first lily attempt after watching the tutorial that Shelley T provided.

If you haven't yet hop over to facebook and join the fan page for paper patch crafts. Anne is always doing fun challenges and great tutorials!!

Birthday card for my Nephew

Hi everyone! I created this card for my little nephew. I started out thinking I needed to get my brothers done but I had our little guy on my mind so I made his way ahead of time.

Paper Patch Crafts is having a color challenge and the colors are Olive Green, Red and Tan so I used those colors in Patricks card. I am pretty happy with the results. I used a sizzix die for the bear. The stars are a cricut cut and the wagon and pinwheels are Provo Craft Standouts.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

I am back :) Here are a few cards that I recently made

After a very long break from blogger due to my blog being a mess when my blog designer quit hosting the blog design. I am back  With a be...
