Welcome to Card Creating Tuesday With My Cricut Craft Room

Hi everyone! This week was an easy one. We had the choice of making any card we chose
so I made my Mom's Birthday Card. She is a animal and nature lover  so it was easy!!
I used Imagine Cartridge Enjoy the Seasons and Close to my heart Artiste to make this card.
Below you will see the screen shot in craft room which is where I almost always create my projects and here is the great thing It is a free program through Cricut Craft Room by Provo Craft!!!

Here is the completed card

Now I started with Enjoy the Seasons  I love this cartridge. It has a little of all the seasons and the images are to die for! The other Cartridge is by Close to My Heart and is called Artiste All you have to do is click the links I provided to purchase the cartridges! Now how easy is that :) Yes I am going to Enable you :))
The tag is from the Artiste cartridge and I cut it at 4 inches. The Happy Birthday is from the same cartridge and is cut at 1.25 inches. I used dark brown ink to outline the tag and added Star Dust stickles to the colored happy Birthday to give it a shimmer.
Now on to Enjoy the Seasons  The fall leaf sprigs were cut at 1.50 inches and I cut 3 of them. The tree was cut at 4 inches and last but not least the squirrel on the stump was cut at 1.50 inches.
I used 2 sprigs around the tree trunk and the squirrel then to tie it all together I used a sprig in the upper right hand corner. It helped to keep it balanced and I liked it there. There is a beautiful large scalloped lace on the card that is hard to see and it is websters pages trim then I used the reddish pink lace for the bow to give it a little pop!
Thank-you for visiting my blog and I love comments:))

Would you ever guess Wednesday with my Cricut Craftroom

The challenge this Wednesday was to use a gel pen holder and gel pens on our design.
I love using the cricut gel pens and holder in my E2 to write out little sayings for both the inside and outside of the card. On this card I used Alphalious with the bold feature to do the lettering. I did them at .25 and used the feature to have it go over them twice. Since you are dealing with a pen it is always a good idea to go over it more than once.
The stars are a cut from Rock Princess and I did that cut at 1.75.
Twinkle Twinkle little star is a bed time ritual for my Grand daughters. They sing it to the stars before they go to bed. My oldest Grand daughter that is almost 4 sang it to me on the phone because she said the sun was tired so the stars came out and it was night night time. It was so sweet and it touched a place in my heart. Every time I see the stars it will remind me of that sweet little girl singing to me on the phone. So here is a picture of my super simple project but it has special meaning to me.

Theme Day Thursday with My Cricut Craft Room

Welcome to Theme Day Thursday!!
Today the challenge was to make a card for a girl. Well I only have 1 daughter and she has 2 daughters so this was a piece of cake for me!!
My oldest Grand daughter will be 4 this month and loves bling and Hello Kitty so she got both on this card. The cupcake card was made using The Cricut Cartridge Hello Kitty.

I know that Hello Kitty is a hard cartridge to find and if you
can score 1 at a decent price grab it up. I used all the layering features to create the cupcake then added Stickles Glitter Glue to make the sprinkles on the cupcake. For the Hello Kitty on it I had a piece of paper with the image so I used my Extra large punch and Itop to punch out the pic. Now a little tip from Erica if you have a glue machine like creative station or any of them that will allow the image to run smoothly through it then I suggest you use it because it will make it so much easier to adhere it to the brad or button when you snap it together with the Itop so that it makes a flawless embellishment.
Well ladies that is what I have for you today!! Please be sure to go back to Cricut Craftroom to see the amazing work from my very talented Design Team Sisters!!

Welcome to Imagination Monday with My Cricut Craft Room!

Here is a pic of my project then I will tell you the size of each cut and the cartridges used!!

The believe in magic is a 4 inch cut from word of mouth. I did go in and change that back round on it to Pink for Cancer Awareness. I then out lined it in Brown Stickles Glitter glue.
The rest of the cuts are from Santa's Village. It is my favorite Christmas cartridge to date.
The tree is cut at 4 inches and I used ruby slipper glitter glue to give some of the cranberry strands dimension.
The Jack in the box was cut at 1.75 and I added some liquid pearls to the box.
The Teddy Bear is cut at 1.75 and I added stickles star dust to his green bow. The rocking horse was cut at 2 inches and I added ruby slipper stickles to the saddle. That cute little baby riding the horse was cut at 1.25 inches and I only added a little stardust stickles to her hat. She is such a cute little thing! Now to find the cartridges used  I will give you direct links to them in Erica's store.
Santa's Village I was unable to find in her store but you can always contact her and see if it is available!

Welcome to Octobers 100 Cartridge Blog Hop with My Cricut Craft Room

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop Day ONE

You should have started at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ if not please start at the beginning.
If you came to my blog from Kathy Salido's Blog then you are right on track. I will provide today's full line up at the end of this post in case you get lost along the way!
On my first project I used  cricut cartridges: Love you a Latte, Kate's ABC's

I cut the Teapot at 3 inches and then left the setting at 3 inches so the other pieces would cut at the correct Dimensions. So the cups were cut at 3 inches also but using craft room I flipped 1 of the cups. I added hot cocoa stickles in dots around the cups and the tea pot. I also used it to make the tea bag string show up and the little tag at the end of the teabag. The Tray in the upper left corner was also cut at 3 inches and I did it in layers and used Hot Chocolate stickles to make the cute little saying stand out.
I used the cream and sugar cut to make the mat for the photo to be placed later on.I inked the edges in brown on the photo mat and around the whole layout to give it a vintage feel.. I also used a wide vintage lace as the table top to also add to the vintage look. I used Kat's ABC's to make the flower cuts and the swirl cut. I placed Liquid Pearls in the centers of all the flowers.
On this next project I used Cricut Cartridge Tis The Season and Mr Frosty

I once again Inked the edges of my Kraft Colored card stock to age it a little. Then I used a Blue card stock and embossed it with a Snow flake Embossing folder and inked the edges of it also. The Winter Wonderland saying was cut at 4 inches I then places a piece of textured shimmer paper on the bottom of the card to use as snow. The snowman and all his layers were cut at 4 inches because it will automatically cut the corresponding pieces at the right size to piece together. I did this project in craft room also and used the Cricut Imagine Cartridge Mr Frosty to color the mittens and scarf in a cute pink mitten print.I then used light pink Stickles glitter glue to out line the scarf and mittens. I used black liquid pearls to outline the snow man and his earmuffs and buttons. I don't know how I got by with out craft room to create my projects in. I love it and am lost when it is down! Well those are my projects for the October 100 Cartridge Blog Hop. I hope you enjoyed your little visit to my blog:)

Scrapbook Friday with My Cricut Craft Room

Welcome to Scrapbook Friday with My Cricut Craft Room
This week it was a back to school layout and we are still using pink in support of Breast Cancer awareness.
I used Kates ABC's and Nates ABC's to do this layout

The letter and number blocks are from Kate's ABC's and I cut them at 1.50 inches in the standard cut then I used the layer option to get the blackout blocks to go underneath. I then outlined them with Pink Flamingo Liquid Pearls. The robins egg blue is also a block cut. I just used the layer feature to get the solid block and cut it at 10.50 inches.
The cute little scissors, pencil and glue are cuts from Nate's ABC's
they are also done using the layering features. I added Stardust stickles
to the scissor handles and the pencil to give it some bling.
The photo mats are 4x6 and I used a corner punch to makes slots for the
pictures to go in to. I have the perfect 2 pictures to go into this of my grand daughter going back to preschool after break.
Be sure to go back to
