Secret Garden Tag with Pinque Peacock

Hi everyone! Today I am posting a tag for a challenge going on over at the

Now tags are not my thing and I went crazy trying to do this one!
You know that saying Go Big or go go Home? Well it does not work on a tag.
Thinking about my Mom and the wonderful Secret Garden she planted every year for her Grandchildren finally gave me the inspiration for this tag.

I found this beautiful Graphic 45 Secret Garden Collection in my paper stash.
The sentiment card is from the same collection. Then I pulled out my Pinque Peacock stash
and found the beautiful purple butterfly pin and presto it got the creative juices flowing!!
Instead of using a standard round hole for the twine or ribbon to go through I covered it with the metal flower and strung the ribbon through the flower and pearl.  The small purple flowers are prima and the centers are butter cup liquid pearl glue. I don't know where I got the rose ribbon. Like most paper crafters I am a hoarder!!! LOL I totally enjoyed this tag making experience after I got inspired!
Come and join the challenge!!!!!

  1. stunning tag! Might that quote be from a children's book called The Secret Garden I believe by Frances Hodgson (or something like that)
