Shadow Box

Hi everyone,

It is super hot here in the Willamette Valley today and I was lucky enough to have the day off to play! So I finally got to do my Hawaii trip shadow box. The shells and coral are all items that we found on the beach on base where my daughter and her little family live. It was a wonderful trip and I am not a knick knack person so I did a shadow box! I posted a pic of the layout on it's own and 1 of the layout in the shadow box.
Happy scraping!

Birthday Card

Hi,

Today I did a birthday card for a wonderful young lady in my life (my daughter) and thought I would share it with everyone. I loved the way the colors looked together and I always love to make cards for her because she loves them so much. She may be grown up with a little one of her own but she will always be my baby!
For this one I used:
Blue cardstock:Papertrey ink
Black cardstock: DCWV
Floral paper: Imaginisce
Butterfly: Prima (purchased at paperpatch crafts)
Flower Prima
Ribbon unknown
Happy Birthday Stamp (Kaisercraft) available at Paper patch crafts
Happy Scraping!

Anne at paper patch crafts has another contest going on! Here is the link to her facebook page:

My entry is posted above.
This contest is a summer contest with animals, sunshine ,clouds and all things summer. She is giving away a roll of her totally awesome Faux Stitching tape! Say Bye Bye sewing machine!
I had alot of fun with this one. I finally pulled my design studio out and blew off the dust:) Sad but true. I had to run it through 2 cycles of firmwear updating to get it up to standard. Can you say slacker!! Everytime I use it I think now why don't I use this all the time! I fully plan on leaving it connected and ready to use!
O.k on this projest I used :
DCWV Summer Cardstock Stack ( last years)
Craft cardstock ( Paper Patch Crafts)
Stickles Glitter Glue
Prima Flowers
and Cricut Cartridges:
Stamping
Life is a beach
Paisley
Come join the fun!!

Challenge at Paper Patch Crafts

First of all Happy 4th of July everyone!! The challenge at PaperPatch Crafts as stated in an earlier post is to create a 1 page layout using an ad to base your layout on. I used an Ed Hardy ad. I had to get past seeing the skulls and yuck on his ads to see the layout to base mine on. It was fun and I got to scrap a cute pic of my beautiful spunky grandaughter!
Here is a link to Annes Blog to get all the contest info!

My latest Design Team Box From PaperPatchCrafts. It is all about Daisyds Summer line!

Here is my latest design team items for Paper Patch Crafts

All of the printed paper and embellishments are available at Paper Patch Crafts. The card stock is from Papertrey ink. The printed paper, cardstock stickers and rubons are all Daisyds. I always enjoy the design team items that Anne provides. It gives me a chance to try items that are sometimes outside my comfort zone! Thinking outside the box is a good thing and it is the only way you will grow as a cardmaker or scrapbooker.

I am back :) Here are a few cards that I recently made

After a very long break from blogger due to my blog being a mess when my blog designer quit hosting the blog design. I am back  With a be...
